The Northern Mining Health and Safety Forum (NMHSF) is pleased to announce that the 2025 Northern Mine Rescue Competition will take place May 30 and 31. 

The Miners' Picnic, a free barbecue lunch, will be available from Noon to 2pm on Saturday, May 31 in the Multiplex parking lot.

This family friendly event has something for guests of all ages, with several activties to explore.

Hamburger, hot dogs and refreshments will be available free of charge.

The public is encouraged to bring non-perishablae food donations or make a financial donation to suport the Salvation Army during the Miners' Picnic. Those who make a food or cash donation to the Salvation Army will be eligible to enter a draw for a number of great door prizes.
